KTA 4 Genre question - Rainbow Six Siege

 The product i'm going to be analysing is a game called Rainbow Six Siege. This was made and produced by Ubisoft, a highly popular company founded in France. Rainbow Six Siege was released in 2015 making the game nearly 5 years old with constant updates to this day. 

Rainbow Six Siege is a first person shooter and also a tactical shooter as you have to option to lean when fighting giving you an advantage depending on the situation. The concept of the game can be seen as quite easy but when you actually start to play it seems a-lot more complex. The game is a 5v5s shooter with one life, making you have to play strategic to not die. It contains an attacking team and a defensive team who will have to counter each other to see who will win. 

The camera work in Siege is really good as it is a high quality game for the time it has been out and you also have operators in the game with in game cameras used to be thrown to scout an enemy.  You can have 360 degree cameras showing many perspectives around the game. The sound techniques are also quite good as you can hear many different activities around the map and even when you are on the cameras such as an opponent running around on the floor above or below.

The arrangement of the game is quite good as there are many different maps containing different sized buildings used to attack and defend. As the game is first person you can see 180 degrees in-front. There are many props used as each operator has its own unique ability such as a gadget on the floor that can be seen by both teams. You can also use different costumes on the characters for better aesthetics or advantage for example if it was camouflage you could blend in with the scenery.  

If you were to watch the trailer the audience would expect the game to be against terrorists where as when you play the game you only really play against other players and not the single player so the audience expectations would be off point as the trailer doesn't show enough. But i doubt they would dislike it as its a highly popular fun game with many different techniques and mechanics.
